Put the card in and the photos process themselves, without a single click. This guide shows where it is switched on and what to watch out for.

Watched locations are managed under Settings → Automation. It lists everything the app is watching, so what will start on its own is visible in one place.
The card is remembered by its serial number, so it is recognised even under a different drive letter. By default the whole card is taken; if you also carry other files on it, the wizard lets you pick a single folder. That choice is stored relative to the card, so it survives a drive-letter change.
An ordinary folder can be watched the same way — the one a camera writes to over Wi-Fi, say, or one somebody else copies photos into.
This is the one place it can be set up wrongly. A watched folder needs the backup of originals switched on — otherwise the folder never empties itself and the same photos are processed over and over. The app warns about it. SD cards do not need it: with backup on, originals are removed from the card, and without it the app remembers per card which files it has already processed.
Once it is on, put a card in or drop a photo into the folder and watch the batch start. Automation can be turned off at any time and the settings are kept for next time.
