1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on a website visitor's device. They help ensure basic website functionality, security, remembering choices, or measuring traffic. Similar functions may also be performed by pixel tags, browser local storage, or server logs.
2. What cookies we currently use
The smilecrop.app website is intentionally privacy-friendly. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or comparable profiling tools.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregated visits and page performance without cookies, localStorage, or user profiles. Its beacon sends minimal technical load metrics and Cloudflare does not track visitors across websites. Cookie-storage consent is therefore not required for this tool.

4. Cloudflare and security elements
The website is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare provides DNS, hosting, CDN, website protection, and security services. These services may process technical information such as an IP address, request headers, and request time and, in a specific security scenario, use elements strictly necessary to protect against bots and attacks. Cloudflare Web Analytics loads a beacon from static.cloudflareinsights.com; according to Cloudflare, it uses no cookies or browser storage and does not collect visitors' personal data.
5. Local fonts and language settings
SmileCrop fonts and icons are served directly by this website; displaying a page does not contact Google Fonts or another external font provider. The language switch applies only to the currently open page and does not store the selection in localStorage or cookies.
6. External services — checkout (Paddle)
Technology provided by Paddle.com Market Limited is loaded on the purchase page only after a visitor selects a paid plan and starts the purchase flow. It is used to calculate prices and tax, prevent fraud, and complete the requested payment. Paddle may use its own necessary technology within checkout and provides its own privacy settings under Paddle's Privacy Notice.
7. Consent management
Because the website itself currently uses no cookies or similar storage requiring prior consent, it does not display a general cookie banner. If optional analytics or marketing technology is added, it will be blocked in advance and the website will offer equally easy acceptance and rejection. Cookies and local storage can always be managed in browser settings.
8. Storage period
Strictly necessary security elements may exist for the session or for the period needed to protect the website. According to Cloudflare, unsampled beacon data is retained for 7 days and aggregated Web Analytics is available for the previous 6 months.
